The European Network on Youth Employment aspires to evolve into an active platform, which will bring together all national and European bodies handling “Youth Employment” issues.

The members of the Network share the view that new approaches and cooperation at a transnational level are necessary in order to deal with phenomena such as

  • dropping out of school,
  • restricted access to training,
  • youth unemployment,
  • a weak connection between education/training and labor market demands,
  • limited professional mobility,
  • restricted access to information,
  • problems in reconciliation of family and professional life,
  • etc.

The Network will seek to identify and publicize good practices, aiming at promoting solutions to the problems faced by the young.

Currently the members of the Network are from Cyprus, Belgium (Flanders), Germany, Greece, Italy, Lithuania, Spain and Sweden
